Many atheists, such as Richard Dawkins, put their faith (yes, I used that word, shudder at it's sound) in science- why? Truth?

Is 'the truth' my choice or is there only one 'truth'? Is it prescribed or my view of life I can regard as 'the truth'?

This 'silent--magician' has sent this same link to at least 2000 people. Not sure what the image is, but this is the second time a 'just joined today' account, has gone spam-bombing accounts, in the past few weeks.
